CNN Says Kaitlan Collins and Emilio Madrid Are “Just Friends”

Kaitlan Collins keeps her personal life largely private and has not personally confirmed rumors about past relationships. CNN did, however, address speculation that she was dating photographer Emilio Madrid after the two attended a pre-Grammy Awards event together in Los Angeles on January 31, 2026.

A CNN representative told the Daily Beast that Collins and Madrid were “just friends” and had attended the event with a group of friends, rather than as a couple.

Collins hosts The Source with Kaitlan Collins on weeknights and serves as CNN’s chief White House correspondent.
