Christina Applegate says she is undergoing testing for other conditions after learning that her multiple sclerosis diagnosis was incorrect. On this week’s episode of her MeSsy podcast, she said doctors are checking for possible conditions one at a time.
Applegate named rheumatoid arthritis, lupus and Lyme disease as illnesses that can resemble MS. “So now I’m being tested for all that stuff slowly but surely,” she said.
The actress previously shared her MS diagnosis in 2021 and said last month that she had learned she was misdiagnosed. She also described feeling like a “fraud” and experiencing an identity crisis in the wake of the news.
