Brittany Snow has opened up about finding gratitude in her divorce from Tyler Stanaland. The Hunting Wives actress discussed the experience during the Nov. 2 episode of the Armchair Expert podcast, describing how different her life and relationship are now.
Snow and Stanaland married in 2020, separated two years later and finalized their divorce in 2023. “I am so grateful that I went through that because the person that I am and the partner I’m with now, it’s just so different,” Snow said. She added that she could hardly believe she felt grateful for the divorce.
The actress recalled being 37 and living in an Airbnb while trying to figure out what would happen next. At the time, she said, she focused on rebuilding her life with her dog.
Snow also found support in women who shared similar experiences online. She said friends told her they had gone through comparable situations, while she searched Reddit for stories from women navigating major changes later in life.
Now dating photographer Hunter Moreno, Snow had previously discussed how Stanaland’s romantic storylines with Selling the OC costars Alex Hall and Kayla Cardona contributed to the breakup. She said she was shocked by what she saw on the Netflix series and felt she had not understood the reality of the situation.
Despite the difficulties, Snow emphasized that there was love in her marriage and that the circumstances were more complicated than a simple account of one person hurting another. She said she does not regret the relationship or the time they shared, even though it ended.
