Britney Spears has shared another public message about her family, criticizing her younger sister Jamie Lynn Spears and former husband Kevin Federline over what she described as past treatment of her.

In an Instagram post shared Sunday, November 1, the 44-year-old singer alleged that Jamie Lynn did not allow her to hold her niece, Ivey, during visits to Louisiana amid the COVID-19 pandemic. Spears also claimed that Federline would not let her use the bathroom when she arrived at his home to pick up their sons, Sean Preston and Jayden James.

“They made me feel like a slave,” Spears wrote, while also accusing family members of keeping secrets from her. She referred to her father, Jamie Spears, and said that all she had done was work for him before repeating: “I will find a new family !!!”

The message was accompanied by a screenshot from the 2003 film “Uptown Girls,” showing Dakota Fanning’s character raising her middle finger.

According to Page Six, a source close to Jamie Lynn disputed Spears’ account involving Ivey. The source claimed that Spears had held her niece during a family visit and said that Ivey loves her. The source also said Jamie Lynn and her husband were not particularly concerned about the post.

The latest remarks come after years of public disagreements between Spears and her relatives, including disputes linked to the conservatorship that controlled significant aspects of her life for 13 years before ending in November 2021. Spears recently spent time with her two sons and shared photos from a family trip to Dollywood in October.
