Billy Evans has addressed the full-frontal shower scene featuring him in You Can See Everything, saying he felt “violated” by its inclusion in the finished documentary. Evans, 34, appears in the film alongside his partner, Elizabeth Holmes. It was directed by Nathan Fielder and Lance Oppenheim.

The scene follows footage of Evans working out. It shows him showering at home, with an extended shot of his naked body, before he steps out with a towel around his waist and nearly encounters Fielder outside the bathroom.

In an Ask Me Anything session on X, Evans rejected a user’s suggestion that the scene could only have happened if he wanted it to, calling that a “false narrative.” When another user asked whether the filmmakers entered the shower or kept filming without being told to stop, Evans shared a People report quoting a source who said he felt “violated,” and replied: “trust the ‘sources.’”

The accounts of how the scene was agreed to have differed. Co-director Lance Oppenheim previously said Evans willingly undressed for the cameras and appeared to have something he wanted to show. A source quoted by People, however, said Evans agreed on the understanding that the scene would be kept PG. Another insider said he had been told nudity would be removed, while TMZ reported that he was told the footage would not make the final cut for legal reasons.
