Bill Belichick’s family is reportedly relieved following his split from Jordon Hudson, but concerns about her involvement in his professional life have not disappeared, according to a source cited by Page Six.
The source said the family’s concerns were not centered on the age difference between Belichick, 74, and Hudson, 25. Instead, relatives were reportedly uncomfortable with how closely Hudson had become involved in his business affairs, including emails, management decisions and other dealings.
Although Hudson is still said to be professionally involved with Belichick, the source said the family does not know the full extent of her role, how much influence she has or what responsibilities he has assigned to her. The source added that relatives were not accusing Hudson of wrongdoing, but remained uncertain about what her position is now that the romantic relationship has ended.
Representatives for Belichick, his family and Hudson did not immediately respond to Page Six’s requests for comment.
Reports of the split emerged in late October, with claims that the couple had quietly ended their relationship late last year. They have reportedly remained close and continued working together professionally.
Hudson’s involvement in Belichick’s career drew attention in April 2025, when she interrupted his interview with “CBS Sunday Morning” as correspondent Tony Dokoupil asked how the couple had met. Belichick later defended her, saying the interview had been arranged to promote his memoir, “The Art of Winning: Lessons from a Life in Football,” and that questions about their relationship were outside the agreed scope. He said Hudson was ensuring that the interview stayed on track.
Belichick and Hudson first met on a flight in February 2021 and appeared together on the red carpet at The Museum Gala at New York City’s American Museum of Natural History in December 2024. In February 2025, an insider said they had discussed marriage, although any wedding would reportedly have included a prenuptial agreement.
During a press conference on Monday, Belichick declined to discuss the split, saying he would keep his personal comments and relationships private. He also questioned whether the reporter worked for a tabloid.
