Bill Belichick has declined to comment on his reported breakup with Jordon Hudson.

During a Nov. 2 press conference, a WRAL reporter asked the University of North Carolina football coach about the split. “Do you work for a tabloid now?” Belichick replied before adding, “I’ll keep my personal comments and relationships to myself if that’s alright with you.”

The exchange came days after multiple outlets reported that Belichick, 74, and Hudson, 25, had ended their romantic relationship the previous year. Those reports also said the two remained close through their working relationship and friendship.

Hudson has continued to publicly support Belichick. She was seen on the sidelines during UNC’s Oct. 24 game against Syracuse, which the team lost 31-30.

The pair have also shared moments away from football. In May, Hudson posted a photo of herself and Belichick walking hand-in-hand at Churchill Downs during the Kentucky Derby while wearing coordinated pink and blue outfits. Her caption referenced the criticism they faced over their nearly 50-year age difference: “Not the first time we’ve trudged through the mud together.”

In an April 26 Instagram post, Hudson also shared a glimpse of Belichick supporting her at the Cheerleading Worlds competition in Orlando, Florida, writing, “Roses up for Bill the WAG.”

Belichick and Hudson’s relationship began in 2023, following his split from Linda Holliday. They made their romance public in 2024, drawing criticism because of their age gap.

Hudson previously defended the relationship in a 2025 Instagram Story that she later reshared. “Nothing changed for us in 2024 except for ‘public knowledge’; yet, somehow everything changed,” she wrote, adding, “Fourth calendar year; Going strong. I can’t wait to take punches for you in 2025.”
