Barbara Palvin is responding to criticism of her decision to return to the runway just six weeks after giving birth to her daughter, Sylvie, with husband Dylan Sprouse.
The 33-year-old Hungarian model walked in the 2026 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show last month. While attending the Sprouse House Halloween Party on October 31, she spoke to E! News about the mixed reaction to her appearance.
“Honestly, there were 50-50 with the reactions,” Palvin said. “Some people loved that I was back, and some people were like, maybe I should be resting at home.”
She added that postpartum experiences vary from person to person. “Everyone’s postpartum journey is different,” Palvin explained, “and this is just mine.”
Palvin said she felt “overwhelmed” by the different responses to her return but expressed gratitude for the support of her husband and family. “I’m lucky that I have the support from my husband and my family, and they were able to get me there,” she said.
Offering advice to other new mothers, Palvin said: “Don’t be scared to ask for help.”
