Ariana Grande and Ricky Álvarez are sharing affectionate moments online after rekindling their relationship. Grande featured the backup dancer in an Instagram carousel posted Nov. 2, including images of the pair embracing and kissing.
The first photo shows Grande and Álvarez making eye contact as she wraps her arms around him. Grande wears an off-white raincoat, dark wide-legged pants and white kitten heels, while Álvarez appears in a beanie, green sweater and dark pants. In another image, Grande kisses him on the forehead while he closes his eyes.
The post also highlighted Grande’s new flipped bob hairstyle. The singer first made her reconciliation with Álvarez public on Instagram in August, although speculation had begun earlier after she changed lyrics to “thank u, next” during her Eternal Sunshine tour.
In the revised lyrics, Grande moved away from the original reference to writing songs about Ricky and instead sang lines including, “I’m tryna make him my last,” “I know he still got my back” and “We’ll always find our way back.” Grande and Álvarez previously dated from 2015 to 2016.
Fans also noticed a connection between matching collarbone tattoos. On Aug. 15, Grande shared an Instagram Stories photo showing a script tattoo reading “I do love you.” Álvarez has the same words tattooed on his collarbone in a different font. He later included a photo of Grande’s tattoo in his own Instagram dump on Sept. 26, along with a mirror selfie showing her kissing him on the lips.
Grande’s latest post adds to the couple’s public displays of affection since their reconciliation became official.
